About me and my therapy practice

I am passionate about helping anyone who wants to understand themselves better; improve their confidence and self worth or find a way out of difficult circumstances.

have 5 yrs post-qualifying experience in working with clients on a wide range of issues including: bereavement and loss; anger; stress; depression; anxiety; low confidence; loneliness, self esteem; relationship and attachment issues.

I also work with the impact of trauma and hold a certificate in treating PTSD (single incident), Complex PTSD and working through Childhood Sexual Abuse.

I have been in private practice for 4 years and have also worked in a range of settings as a schools counsellor, bereavement counsellor and an EAP counsellor for a large Occupational Health company.

I offer a safe, confidential space for you to explore your situation without judgement or advice. I believe there is always a way forward, no matter how hopeless or dark the situation appears. It is my goal to work alongside you so that feel heard, understood and empowered to make changes in your life and move forward.

Finding a counsellor that you feel safe and comfortable with is crucial and I offer a free initial phone consultation (up to 30 mins) so that you can get a sense of how I work and for me to assess whether my skills and experiences match your needs.
