About me and my therapy practice
I am a positive person and see the best in people and the things around me. I have a very open mind and a non-judgmental approach to life. I appreciate humour and I see the joy in laughter. I believe validation and having the space to express your feelings is an important part of processing your experience.
Before fully embarking upon my counselling journey, I have worked as a manager and as an early years teacher, alongside studying psychology for most of my adult life. I also took time out to have a family.
I have a Masters in Forensic Psychology, a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Psychology, a Foundation degree in counselling as well as Level 4 diploma in counselling.
In the past I have worked with clients who have brought things to therapy such as: addiction, disordered eating, depression, anger, anxiety, health anxiety, PTSD, sexual issues, kink, fertility, pregnancy related issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, domestic violence, social anxiety, health anxiety, academic concerns, divorce, OCD, feelings of sadness, loneliness, abandonment and attachment issues, identity, neurodivergence, suicidal feelings and more.
I specialise in working with sexual abuse and anxiety.
I offer individual sessions for teens and adults and relationship counselling online via zoom. I strive to be honest and empathic and provide an open and trusting space; through which clients can explore and achieve clarity, acceptance and make changes for the better, in their lives.
You can contact me via this business page on Facebook, my webpage, via email and telephone; 07425 870904: this is for booking and enquiries, it is not a crisis line. If you feel you need urgent assistance please call 111 or see other helpful services that are listed on the menu on my page.
