About me and my therapy practice
Hi there, I’m Abby! I’m a qualified integrative therapist, and you might know me from my popular Instagram account, @therapywithabby, or my recent book, Reclaiming You, which came out earlier this year.
Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or just have that gut feeling something isn’t quite right, therapy can be a powerful tool to explore your thoughts and make positive changes. We all go through times when life feels a bit too overwhelming to handle on our own. That’s where therapy comes in - it’s a space to find support, gain clarity, and navigate those tough times with guidance.
My top priority as a therapist is to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I genuinely believe the relationship between client and therapist is the most important part of the therapy experience. That’s why I work from the heart, often with a healthy dose of humour and playfulness.
Before training to become a therapist I worked in the media industry for 15+ years, so I intimately understand the particular demands, challenges and struggles of working in corporate and creative environments.
I know starting with a new therapist can be nerve-wracking, especially if it’s your first time in therapy. But my goal is to help you feel safe, supported, and confident as you take this step towards meaningful change.
