As a self identified people pleaser and nice person, are you feeling caught in a pattern of putting others' needs ahead of your own, even when it's draining you. You might find yourself saying "yes" to things you really don’t want to do, struggling to say "no," and then feeling exhausted or second-guessing your decisions. That constant loop of replaying conversations, wondering what you should've done differently—that's exhausting too, isn't it?
Maybe you've noticed that trying to avoid conflict, or not wanting to disappoint people, has left you feeling like you're always apologising or walking on eggshells. I understand how overwhelming that can be. It’s as though you’ve been running on empty for a while now, just craving a moment to breathe, to rest, to find some peace and balance in your life.
The good news is, you don’t have to go through this alone. Therapy can be a safe space to explore those feelings and start reclaiming that sense of calm you're looking for. Whether it's reflecting on what’s been going on, finding better ways to communicate your needs, or learning how to feel more at ease in your relationships, therapy can offer support that’s tailored to what you need.
If getting out in nature sounds like something that could help, walk-and-talk therapy at the Fairhaven Water Gardens might be a great fit. There's something about the fresh air and peaceful setting that can make it easier to talk through what’s on your mind. And if it feels more comfortable, we can always meet online or by phone—whatever suits you best.
It’s okay to want some time and space for yourself. You deserve that. If you feel ready to take that first step, I’m here to help. Reach out for a free consultation when you’re ready.
About me and my therapy practice
I take a unique approach to in-person therapy by offering walk-and-talk sessions, rather than meeting in a traditional room. Set in the peaceful Fairhaven Woodland and Water Gardens, nature becomes a calming, supportive backdrop.
Walking side by side allows us to engage both mind and body, helping to release thoughts that may be weighing you down. Rest assured, this is a completely confidential space—nature holds the container for our conversations, and I’ll be right there with you. There are plenty of quiet spots to sit, reflect, and talk off the beaten path.
If it feels more comfortable, and you prefer not to travel, dress up, and want to focus on your well-being from the familiarity of your own surroundings, we can always meet online or by phone—whatever suits you best.
Practice description
Whether you're seeking clarity, emotional balance, or simply a space to process life's challenges, this first session is designed to offer you a moment to stop, breathe, and set down the heavy baggage of expectations you've been carrying.
Here, you’ll be heard and supported, free to explore your thoughts and feelings without pressure. It can be the beginning of taking a different path forward to a deeper self-understanding, healing, and growth—a space where you can reconnect with yourself and let go of what’s weighing you down.
We’ll take this path at your pace, and I’ll be here to guide you every step of the way.
My first session
I know that beginning therapy can feel like a big step, which is why I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help you feel more at ease. This initial session allows us to connect and gives you the chance to share what’s on your mind, ask any questions, and get a sense of how we might work together. It’s an informal, relaxed conversation where we can explore what you’re looking for in therapy and how I can best support you.
If, after our consultation, you feel ready to continue, I’ll send you an online form to complete. This form serves as an assessment, giving me a clearer picture of your background, current struggles, and therapy goals. It covers areas like your emotional well-being, lifestyle, and any relevant past experiences. This step ensures that we can tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs and make the most out of your therapy journey.
Whether we choose to meet in person for walk-and-talk therapy at Fairhaven Water Gardens, or opt for phone or online sessions, my goal is to create a supportive and safe environment from the very beginning. You’ll have the freedom to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, while I’m there to guide and support you throughout.
