I offer my clients help in a safe and supportive environment which enables us to explore personal difficulties.
We will work together at your pace, taking gentle steps and in a direction that you choose.
You will experience a warm space, free from judgement where we can explore ways to help you understand what is happening, then together, help you work towards personal growth and change
Alongside my experience counselling adults, I have ten years’ experience working in secondary school, some of which involves offering guidance and support to young people.
I have 20 years experience working in the justice system which has helped me in supporting people working in this field and those whose lives have been affected by crime.
As well as my experience working in a counselling agency, I run a private practice. Alongside this I work as a counsellor for a small charity supporting children and young adults and am also part of the Team of Health Practitioners for Salus Fatigue Foundation ( a charity supporting service users recovering from chronic health conditions).
I also work with Employer Assistance Providers and Victim Support Therapy
As a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists I abide by the professional standards set out in the BACP Ethical Framework for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and can provide both short-term and long term counselling to individuals including evening and weekend appointments.
