Practice description

APPROACHES

Schema Therapy:

In schema therapy, we will work to uncover and understand your schemas, sometimes called as life traps which are unhelpful patterns. Schema therapy aims to teach you how to ensure your emotional needs are met in a healthy way that doesn’t cause distress.

You may find Schema therapy helpful if any of the following apply to you:

•You experience low levels of self-esteem, and struggle with self-worth

• You have relationship difficulties

• You struggle with friendships

• You worry a lot

• You feel constantly low

• You have body image problems

• You have eating problems and/ or eating disorders

• You have been to therapy before, it helped you with awareness building but you struggle to change things

• You experienced childhood trauma

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy:

It is a short term psychotherapy approach that help you to manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It is the mostly recommended approach to treat anxiety, panic disorder, depression, OCD and PTSD.

Internal Family Systems Therapy:

The IFS model asserts that each person has some wounded parts, like anger or shame, and other parts that try to control and protect us from those wounded parts. IFS therapists help identify and reconcile these parts, so the person’s core Self can find true healing.

IFS therapy works for everyone, regardless of what you’re going through. While it can be most beneficial for trauma therapy clients and eating disorderders, anyone can benefit from the IFS model.

Young Adults Therapy:

If you are a young person experiencing personal and emotional difficulties such as relationships with family, friends or partners, or you may have difficulties at school, college or work, I am here to understand what’s been troubling you and I tend to integrate the methods based on your needs to see the best outcome.

My first session

We will meet for an initial consultation session which takes between 50-60 minutes which we will discuss your needs, expectations, my style of working and come up with a plan if we decide to work together further.

In-person appointments take place in central London. Online appointments are available.
