About me and my therapy practice
Hello I’m Liz. I’m a qualified humanistic gestalt counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I offer one-to-one counselling for as little or as much time as you need from a lovely farm based just outside Basingstoke. I have experience of working with a variety of clients and issues and as well as my private practice currently volunteer with a youth counselling service and CRUSE bereavement care. I cannot provide all of the answers but I will sit beside you, listen and work with you to help you to explore your current issues and move forward, accepting things you cannot change and changing the things you can.
I also offer outdoor Walk & Talk therapy both from the farm base and in Winchester for those that feel they would benefit from exploring their issues in natural surroundings. Walking side by side we can work together on issues that might be affecting your life.
My first session
I appreciate that taking the first step to seek out help can be daunting and it’s important to find the right person for you. I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to be heard.
Our first session will allow me to gather some information on your current issues, what you are hoping to get from counselling and some background context. It is also an opportunity for us both to see whether we are able to work together and for you to decide whether I am the right person for you.
Feel free to email/text/call me with any questions and without obligation.
