About me and my therapy practice
Before becoming a counsellor I worked in education and social care.
I trained as an integrative counsellor, which enables me to use various counselling approaches best suited to the client's needs.
I work with Bereavement & Loss, Coping with Chronic Illness, Domestic Abuse, Trauma, Anxiety & Depression, Hoarding and The Elderly- Supporting Mental Health in Later Life.
I offer both short and long term Counselling Face to Face, Online, by phone and Walk & Talk Therapy and home visits for the elderly.
Practice description
I have worked for a Domestic Abuse agency, Age UK and Macmillan.
I aim to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space, where difficulties can be explored collaboratively and insight can be gained, enabling the client to consider positive alternatives, which in turn empowers them to make necessary changes.
The 50 minute sessions are weekly to start. They are non directive and private and confidential.
I work from my garden office and I have use of a room which is accessible for wheelchair users.
