About me and my therapy practice
With a holistic mind-body approach, I specialise in trauma and the mind-body connection. You may be a highly sensitive person, the black sheep of the family, or you may be suffering with symptoms such as anxiety, depression and chronic stress.
My approach is rooted in understanding and addressing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, overwhelm, CPTSD, low self-esteem, OCD and more. Through a holistic lens, I help clients reconnect with their minds and bodies by fostering safety and regulation in their nervous systems. I specialize in trauma processing, helping clients to process and move through their fight/flight/freeze responses and reconnect with their hearts to experience more love, compassion and connection in life.
Experiences in my own life have lead me down paths of light and dark, and at times this journey has been incredibly challenging, but the more I have been able to develop a trust in my own mind and body and reconnect to my own strength and power, the more I have been able to open my heart and become more vulnerable, express my truth and feel more connected to the people I love and the world around me. I have dedicated over 10 years of my life to learning, healing and growing and I use this practice to help guide others along their own individual journey.

Trauma and pain are held within the body, necessitating a multi-faceted, holistic approach to healing. During our sessions, I will draw on the principles of the Polyvagal theory, guiding clients in working with their natural biology and nervous system to cultivate safety and regulation from within. I will also help clients to work with and understand their inner psyche and build a strong, balanced connection between mind and body.
Using various techniques such as; nervous system regulation, limbic system retraining, psychoeducation, somatic work and movement, psychodynamic talk therapy, breath work, inner parts and shadow work, emotional release, visualisation, mindfulness and meditation – our sessions will focus on grounding, validating and processing inner and outer experiences.
I encourage clients to develop a compassionate relationship with themselves, strengthening intuition and inner knowing to better listen to their needs and desires, instead of unconsciously reacting from a place of fear and stress. By reconnecting to ourselves, we reconnect to our true nature and to the internal wisdom and support that flows through all of us.

I offer an initial complimentary 15 minute telephone consultation to give you the opportunity to answer any questions you may have and to see if we are a suitable fit to work through this next phase of your journey together.
To begin with, the work together is around building safety and capacity in the mind, body and nervous system. I hope that you will be able to trust in me to hold a safe, non-judgemental and strictly confidential space for you to talk about and feel whatever comes up naturally.
I encourage client autonomy which means we will work at your own pace and for what feels right and comfortable for you. I will offer up what I intuitively feel you might need and guide the session as such, if and when this feels comfortable for you.
