About me and my therapy practice

I offer face to face sessions, and also via telephone or online video. My aim is to help you explore whatever difficulties you are experiencing in your life...

Difficult feelings may relate to depression, panic, anxiety, relationships, work stress, chronic or life-threatening illness and more. I hope to help you by providing a safe, confidential & non-judgemental space. Focusing on what you bring to each session - the emphasis of our relationship is based on trust & respect.

Together, we can explore whatever it is that brings you to counselling, and hopefully help you to make sense of things; perhaps coming to a different, more helpful understanding of yourself and your life circumstances. This may enable you to recognise, and reconnect with, your true self; which often clarifies direction in life.


Practice description

I have current experience of working in an NHS setting, cancer support, private practice and high schools. You may choose to work short or long-term, this is totally up to you. Short-term tends to have more focus on a specific issue. 

Longer-term work can explore a variety of issues which may be causing you difficulty; trying to understand how they affect your life may enable you to make changes which could help. 

I believe we are all motivated by the need to realise our full potential, and this may be affected by experiences throughout life including childhood, family relationships, social environment, work, illness, bereavement & more. 

Having an opportunity to explore things in a safe and non-judgemental way can help us to understand ourselves and situations better, which can enable us to move forward in life. 

Sessions are reviewed regularly to meet your needs.
