About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes Life can bring challenges. Do You Feel like No one is listening?
I am Here for you and Well-done for Considering Counselling to explore What is Going on in your Life. I understand how hard it can be, revealing your challenges, family and friends, let alone someone you hardly know. However, that is where Counselling makes a huge difference due to confidentiality, providing you a safe place to Express your Innermost feelings and be Heard, without being Judged or being told what to do. This is where you need a trusted professional friend and have your own Voice. I am your Professional Friend to walk with on your Life Journey.
I am a Fully Qualified Psychotherapist with BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Anglian Ruskin University. I have my own Practice called; Imatter Counselling Therapy Networks. My Professional role is to walk safely with you, empowering you making your own choices, in a safe environment, with an empathetic understanding, allowing you to be Heard. My working experience ranges from working with Mental Health Issues, through my experiential work with Herts Mind Network, Substance Misuse, whilst working with CGL and Bereavement. I am also a self-employed cousellor, working with both telephone and face to face at Rennier Grove Peace Hospice, where I started working as a Volunteer in 2012. I also hold NHS Credentials. To book an appointment with me in Watford or for any questions, regarding Counselling, you may contact me on 07718835090 or email info@imattercounselling.com
Practice description
As a trained Psychotherapist my role is support a client understand the causes of their deep rooted behaviours and finding ways of managing them in a safe environment. My services are open ended, offering clients much needed long term support in managing their challenging issues using various psychotherapeutic practices.
My first session
My first session is all about allowing a client to complete an assessment form, which allows me to understand their challenging issues and how long this has been affecting a client physically, mentally and psychologically. The session allows me to collect as much information as possible, including any medical reports and support that a client has received, prior to counselling.
