I am only seeing clients via zoom. I am currently located in UAE, Abu Dhabi but trained and lived in the UK. I will occasionally come to the UK and offer face2face sessions alongside the online sessions.

About me and my therapy practice
Some of my clients come in due to stresses in work, family obligations/conflict, moving country, not living a life up to expectations or life circumstances and feeling the pressure to do things right and perfectly.
My intention will always be to keep your goals for therapy in mind and for us to discover resources alongside your sessions, to cultivate your inner resilience, strengths, curiousity and compassion. To move from a place of stuck-ness, stress or struggle to choice and flexibility.
As a relational integrative therapist, I use and combine elements from a wide range of contemporary and traditional therapy approaches including attachment theory, body mind connection (nervous system - regulation), psychodynamic theory, and trauma informed techniques. Sometimes we delve into the depth, impact and past of you and your life but we will also engage what will be practical and realistic for you to apply now.
I consciously cultivate and provide a private, non-judgemental, open space for you to feel comfortable, heard and able to talk about what is needed. I listen to what we sometimes can’t find words for but feel. Connecting to a deeper sense of what you may be contending with and who you are. Many of my clients struggle with overwhelm, shame, not feeling good enough, disconnection and wanting to understand who they really are. There is often a desire to feel joy more freely and to be themselves.
In my sessions we include identity, family and wider systems, how you view and relate to yourself and what these aspects currently mean in your life, world and community. I want to understand how do you function, what is your go to coping mechanism, internalised messages you carry, how has your upbringing and life experiences shaped you etc. This helps me to adapt and tailor the sessions completely to you and for us to work on what you want from the sessions.
Practice description
I work online and am in the process of offering face to face.
I offer a warm and open space, where you can describe what is bringing you in, in the safety of your own pace. There are times in life where we cannot continue as we are, when experiencing deep distress, challenges and difficulties. Exploring what may be impacting you, in a confidential session can provide a useful support. Where what you might need right now to cope and be supported, can be considered. It is important to recognise each person’s individuality and therefore, I consider carefully the resources and tools offered accordingly, within the sessions.

My first session
We meet online via zoom, for 50 minutes where I will give you space to explore what has bought you to counselling now and what you are hoping for the therapy to support you with. The session will be open for you to share what feels comfortable and gives you a flavour of how I would work with you. It allows us to get an idea of each other and importantly, whether we click as the right fit to support you.
The first session is also great to answer any questions you may have and to get an idea of what therapy might be like with me & for you!
