About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Counsellor, with additional specialist training and experience in Trauma Therapy and Bereavement Counselling. I work in a relational way, adapting my approach to meet your needs.
I offer a welcoming, non-judgmental space where together we can explore any difficulties or challenges you may be facing. I will aid you in telling your story, giving you space to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe space, at your own pace. Together we can work to identify patterns of behaviour and make sense of any relational difficulties you may have. Helping you build a stronger sense of self.
Therapy with me can help if you are experiencing low mood, anxiety, stress or burn-out, have suffered a bereavement, significant loss or trauma. You may be struggling with issues around your own identity, or having difficulties in relationships. Or it may be that you can't quite put your finger on what the issue is but you find it hard to find meaning or enjoyment in life. I will help you explore these feelings, gain better understanding of yourself and find a way forward.
My first session
I offer an introductory session at a reduced rate of £25, this gives you chance to see if it feels like the right fit for you.
In this session I will ask what has brought you to therapy and get a sense of you, your background and your current support network.
