About me and my therapy practice

We all experience difficulties in life, and for the most part, we find ways to navigate them with our own resources and the support of others. However, sometimes challenges can feel overwhelming, leaving us stuck in distress that we struggle to resolve on our own.

Whatever difficulties you’re facing, whether within yourself or in your relationships—anxiety and depression, stress or confusion, loss, addiction, or relationship struggles, I can help you work through these painful emotions, deepen your self-understanding, express yourself more clearly, and ultimately move towards the change you're seeking.

I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor with a first-class MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and a first-class BA (Honours) in Counselling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Practice description

The process of therapy begins with exploring and understanding your emotions and your situation, identifying what is causing you distress and preventing you from building the life you want and need. We will take the time to understand not only how you feel, but also what is happening inside and around you that contributes to these feelings, and what has happened in the past.

Next, therapy usually involves healing emotional pain. This means getting to the heart of your distress—acknowledging how you truly feel deep inside and facing emotions such as anger, sadness, shame, and fear. Often, this will take us to the past and to the people that have hurt you. I will help you process these emotions and gain a sense of emotional well-being and resilience.

As we move forward, we will explore the inner processes and behaviours that shape your emotions and experiences. This often includes changing how you relate to yourself—transforming negative self-talk, understanding your emotional patterns, and learning healthier ways to express or regulate your feelings. We will also explore your relationships, helping you communicate more effectively while maintaining respect for yourself and others.

As therapy progresses, we will ensure that these changes translate into your daily life. We will work with real-life situations that challenge you, identifying emotional triggers and helping you navigate them in healthier ways. Through this process, you will gain practical, lived experiences of change—both within yourself and in your relationships—building the confidence to face life’s challenges with greater resilience.

My first session

I understand that starting therapy can be a daunting task. You may have many questions about whether therapy is right for you. A first appointment is a great place to start. Here we will explore what you want to work on, and I will help you understand yourself, your situations, and your feelings better, so a path forwards becomes clearer.

You can book appointments on my website where there is a secure online booking form:
