About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor offering weekly sessions to individual adults. I have experience in working with a wide range of issues including: anxiety and stress; depression and loss; neurodiversity; low self-esteem; parenting worries; family and relationship problems; pregnancy and fertility; identity issues; and life transitions.

My consulting room is in SW1V, within 5 minutes' walk of Pimlico Underground Station on the Victoria Line, and within easy reach of Vauxhall, Victoria, and Westminster.

I am a registered with both the BACP and the UK Council for Psychotherapy. I have a Foundation Certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent's College, an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Greenwich, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Minster Centre. I also have a PhD in English and an MSc in Psychology. I am currently undertaking specialist training in neurodiversity-informed practice.

Practice description

As an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, I draw on various therapeutic approaches and tailor the work to each individual's needs. The foundation of my practice is a warm relationship within which I hope you will feel safe to explore whatever is troubling you. Sometimes it can be helpful to look at past experiences and relationships. It can also be helpful to identify your thinking style, and to work with recurring patterns in your experience of other people and of yourself.

My first session

When you contact me, I offer a short initial phone call for which there is no charge. This allows me to find out more about your wish to seek therapy at this time, and for us to think together about whether I am the right person to help you. The next step is an initial consultation, in which we explore these matters further. If we agree to work together, we will continue to explore whatever feels most important to you each time we meet, whilst also keeping your over-arching concerns in mind.
