My approach is based in person-centred, mindful therapy which is less directive and more enabling you to recognise and develop your own inner resources. They are present within you but may have become entangled, buried or distorted through challenging life experiences. I offer a warm, welcoming and safe space to explore with you, how together, we unravel the knots to reveal who you are really meant to be moving towards living a peaceful and joyful life.

The initial, introductory session is at a reduced rate in order for you to be sure you feel comfortable with me and that we can work together to achieve your therapy goals. This is an opportunity to explore what therapy is and what therapy isn't; what to expect from me and to ensure you are getting what you feel you set out to get from the sessions. Regular check-ins allow you to evaluate progress in any of the ensuing sessions.

My first session

The first session is an introductory one to ensure you feel comfortable to work with me. Healing and change come about through the therapeutic relationship that develops over the sessions. 

The first session gives opportunity to explore and understand what therapy is; and what it isn't.  How a clear, warm, safe way of working can be discussed and what you can expect from me.
