About me and my therapy practice
Currently working via zoom or by walk and talk
Working outside in our royal parks Richmond park and Bushy park. A different approach to therapy, being in nature can help ground us in turbulent times.
I am an integrative and relational therapist with a specialist interest and training in trauma and early childhood trauma.
Working with the focus of our relationship, my aim is to build trust which can be a foreign concept to those who have experienced adversity in life and in the early years and begin to break down and work through patterns of behaviour that may not be useful in the here and now.
We will work creatively Tailored to your needs. I offer “walk and talks” in our local parks and open spaces. I practice meditation for long term sufferers of anxiety and depression to aid you back into the present moment and give yourself the tools you need to continue self care outside of our sessions.
My aim is to support you in gaining resilience with an empathetic and safe space free from judgement.
“The past has no power to stop you from being present now. Only your grievance about the past can do that. And what is grievance? The baggage of old thought and emotion.”
Eckhart Tolle
Practice description
Working with outdoor therapy can be freeing and grounding from the confinements of an office space.
We will find a meeting point and go from there.
Working online via Zoom offers flexibility in your time schedule, you choose the time that works for you.
What to expect from me:
A safe space free from judgement for you to be open and honest about your experience and expectations of the world.
My first session
In our first session we will gather an understanding of what is going on for you and what got you here and see if I am the right therapist for you.
Connection is key in therapy and plays an important role in how we will work together. Being open with someone you haven’t met before can feel daunting my aim is for us to break down barriers and discover what your expectations of therapy are. To make you feel as comfortable as possible.
