About me and my therapy practice
I’m Anita, welcome to InReach Counselling & Wellbeing.
*Please note sessions take place online.
I hope to assure you that in taking the first step to seek help through counselling, will be the start of your journey, in changing the way you feel.
At times we can all find ourselves struggling to cope with difficult feelings & situations. In trying to make sense of particular thoughts, you may feel stuck or overwhelmed, where the challenge to get through each day feels too great.
You may be feeling isolated, anxious or depressed, with little hope for the future. Perhaps you are struggling in relationships, wanting to improve how you relate & connect to people. You may be feeling angry and finding it a challenge to like yourself.
You may be coming to terms with a trauma or a loss in your life and are needing to process your experience and to see a way forward.
Perhaps you feel that you’re not being heard or understood, that something in your life isn’t quite right, even though that something isn't quite clear yet.
At times it may feel difficult to understand who we really are or where we fit in with people & life. Therapy can’t erase a difficult past but it can equip you to make the changes needed, in allowing you to let go, enabling you the choice & freedom to move on. Personal therapy can offer the space you need to share & make sense of your experience, this can be profoundly helpful in making things more manageable.
Practice description
I can offer telephone or video sessions, where you can explore and make sense of presenting difficulties, together we can find a way forward, step by step, at a pace that is comfortable for you.
I work from a person-centred, emotion-focussed approach, which puts your unique journey at the heart of the work.
In working with me, you will not be judged for the choices you are making or have made in the past. However, if these choices are no longer working for you, we will explore alternative ways of approaching your life, to regain that sense of fulfilment & wellbeing.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute call, where you can ask specific questions about my therapy approach and decide if I’m the right fit for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
I am an experienced, person-centred therapist, offering a safe, supported space in enabling you to unravel your thoughts and feelings, in order to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and how you experience your life.
You may have a particular difficulty that presents in your life or it may be a general feeling of restlessness or discontentment that you are experiencing. This may be something that has occurred from a particular life event or it maybe a way of being that you’ve managed for some time.
Taking steps to begin counselling with me, is a starting point to your personal growth, an intention to make change, in developing self awareness, and bringing clarity to who you really are.
Practice description
I offer sessions from a peaceful, private therapy room in Wall Heath, Kingswinford.
An initial call or email will allow you to gain a feel for my approach, where you can ask specific questions and decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
My warm, supportive approach allows a non judgmental therapeutic environment, where you are able to explore and talk about whatever you wish.
You may simply need a space to feel heard and understood, or you may like to create set goals, that I can work alongside you, in helping you to achieve.
My first session
The first session is important for you, in deciding if you feel safe, comfortable and ready for your therapeutic journey to begin.
My compassionate, enquiring approach will provide me with the landscape of where you are, from here I can walk with you, in helping you to gain a deeper understanding of your thoughts and feelings. Together creating opportunities for change, growth and a more consistent sense of peace and meaning, with a hope for feeling more contentment and joy in your life.
