About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in psychodynamic therapy. When problems arise, they are often the symptoms of deeply rooted traumas, past experiences or learned behaviour from childhood. Psychodynamic therapy can help you discover and understand the root causes of your feelings and how they are affecting your life in the present. Therapy can help you to explore and gain the necessary insight into how we are conditioned and therefore how we relate to others and to different situations in our current life stage. This can help us to make necessary changes to how we process information and therefore respond, both physically and through our own thought process.
I offer a warm, welcoming and confidential environment where we can explore the thoughts and feelings that may be overwhelming you with the hope of guiding you towards becoming the person you want to be.
Just some of the presenting issues that talking therapy can help you with are depression, anxiety or trauma. Sometimes we are not able to identify why we are feeling the way we are or indeed understand what we are feeling, so simply talking to a therapist can help us gain better insight into what is going on for us.
