About me and my therapy practice
My main concern is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where we can work together to begin to explore, understand and resolve the issues which have brought you to therapy.
My core training is psychodynamic, meaning that we would consider how your early experiences have shaped your current behaviours, relationships and expectations about the world.
I also offer trauma-focused therapy, working with grounding and breathing techniques and some psycho-education around how trauma responses affect the mind and body.
Some of my key areas of experience are working with anxiety, depression, bereavement, self-harm, eating disorders, gender and identity, neurodivergence, relationship problems, domestic abuse, chronic shame and PTSD and trauma, especially relating to issues from childhood.
My first session
I offer an initial free 30-minute online session where you can ask questions, give me an idea of what you would like to explore and decide whether you feel we would be a good match.
