I am a supportive supervisor working with Supervisee's using an integrative approach. My core training is Person Centered based. My model for supervision is centered around the needs of both the Supervisee and their caseload of clients.
Supervision will be an opportunity to work within both a confidential, supportive and educational space where growth is both encouraged and implemented through the supervision process.
I work well with both qualified supervisees wanting to grow their practice as well as trainee counsellors developing their understanding of client work.
About me and my therapy practice
My approach is warm and encouraging and practical allowing the supervisee to explore their practice and how they work with clients. There is a focus on process in terms of the impact of the work on self.
My work is supervisee and client centered. I feel its important to develop a strong working relationship with supervisee's. There will be ample room to discuss learning, experience and the blind spots within the client work that often appear through developing a trusting supervision relationship.

I am a registered Accredited BACP Supervisor. In addition to this I lecture on the level 6 counselling diploma at Inter-Psyche an established training centre. I have supervisory responsibility for a number of supervisees both qualified and working towards completion of their training.
My supervisory practice is both supportive, educational and insightful. Allowing for the trainee or qualified counsellor to retain autonomy for client work whilst developing other ways of working with the client successfully. I am also very mindful of the supervisees process and I am able to work with their feelings and the complexities that often arise as a result of working with clients. I am person centred trained but I am able to work integratively with supervisees.
