Practice description
I’m a fully qualified counsellor specialised in trauma, abuse, challenging life events and family estrangement. I know how isolating it can feel when family relationships are strained or absent, especially if they’re tied to unresolved trauma or negative experiences.
My approach provides a safe, compassionate environment for you to explore difficult emotions and family dynamics without judgment. I help clients work through past hurts, develop coping strategies for triggers and flashbacks, and build the confidence to set healthy boundaries.
Whether you’re dealing with trauma, difficult family interactions, or a combination of both, I’ll work with you to build resilience and a stronger sense of self. This journey of safe exploration and self-care can empower you to reconnect with yourself and those who truly support you, fostering healthier, more fulfilling relationships moving forward.
My first session
I understand that coming to therapy may be a big step, or you are unsure of what to expect. I offer an initial 15-minute consultation over the phone, during which you can give me brief details of what brings you to therapy and ask any questions you may have.
