About me and my therapy practice

I’m a highly experienced therapist who specialises in helping people with high anxiety and low self-esteem to feel better about themselves and gain control of their emotions. As well as initial short-term relief, my support will give you long-term solutions. I also work with depression, trauma, relationship and family issues and codependence for individuals, couples and groups at my consultation room in East Dulwich and online.

I have trained extensively in different approaches that I can adapt to suit your needs. However, my core approach comes from my training under Pia Mellody at the famous addiction treatment centre, The Meadow, USA. Here I learned how to help clients rewire the conditioned behaviour and thinking patterns that can keep us stuck in repetitive circles in life.

I help clients to heal trauma and I help clients to get rid of the overwhelming feelings that they often find themselves lost in for days, weeks or months. I will help you understand your difficulties, but most importantly I will help you change them and your life.

My first session

Whether you contact me by phone or email I will get back to you within 12 hours and, most likely within one or two hours.

First and foremost, I am here to answer any questions or concerns you have around therapy. These could be about my approach or my experience with a particular issue or practical issues such as what days/times I have available.

Whatever the question, I encourage you to get in touch. I’m aware that it can be difficult making the first step and I am here to respond with sensitivity, understanding and clarity.

At the beginning of our appointment I will introduce myself and explain some practical details about how I work. I will explain anything you’d like to know about therapy and the different approaches available and we can try to identify what might work best for you.

We will discuss what you’d like to get from therapy. You may not know what this is – so we may spend time trying to clarify this together – which will also give us a feel of how we can work together. The initial appointment is an opportunity for you to get a sense of how well I can support you to get what you want from therapy -  and your life.
