About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, my philosophy is that the quality of one's life is determined not solely by the events in one's life, but by what one makes of these events. I am here to support clients through that work and to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner, chartered psychologist, co-founder of the former Box Tree Clinic, trained clinically at Yale Medical Centre, and an Oxford graduate. I work with adult individuals with a wide variety of mental health issues ranging from everyday difficulties such as low self esteem, loss, and relationships to more established diagnoses and chronic issues such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
I specialise in treating trauma and often work with survivors of road accidents; physical, psychological, and sexual abuse; traumatic bereavement, and suicide. I have published peer reviewed articles in leading psychology journals, and presented research at the American Psychological Association's national convention. I have completed extensive original research on complex bereavement, attachment, and temporality and was awarded the Creative Longevity and Wisdom Fellowship from the Institute for Social Innovation. Psychoanalyst, philosopher, and author of Trauma and Human Existence, Robert Stolorow described reading my research as "an exhilarating experience". I have spoken on dozens of radio programmes about suicide loss survival.

I supervise a monthly peer supervision group meeting at 4 Devonshire Street, W1W 5DT. There are currently 3 regular members (plus myself) and we would love to add one or two additional members. It is a lovely welcoming group. Please feel free to email me for more information.
About me and my therapy practice
Working therapeutically can be a lonely process. Sharing your cases and practice challenges in a group setting can be wonderfully healing and supportive. This monthly supervision group for psychotherapists and counsellors is a confidential and safe space to share your experiences with others and for others to share useful insights with you. I ensure that all members of the group actively participate, are valued, and respected. We meet one Friday of every month from 5-7pm.

With a special focus on trauma and EMDR, I am passionate about helping people overcome traumatic experiences.
