About me and my therapy practice
My down-to-earth style can help you identify patterns of thinking and behaving while gaining an objective perspective on your current challenges, all while valuing your unique experience.
I am very active in counselling sessions, asking questions that facilitate deeper exploration and help create new meaning in your life.
This approach can be very useful for dealing with things like anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood experiences, disordered eating, and other mental health challenges.
I adapt my approach to each individual client. Your needs, your difficulties, and your way of communicating is unique and you deserve a unique approach centred around you.
My promise to you is to do my best to understand whatever you bring from your perspective, without any judgement or criticism.

Practice description
Fully qualified and BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist.
It's been a difficult few years for all of us.
Maybe it feels like life is spiralling out of control. Like there is a cloud over everything you think and do.
You may not feel ‘yourself’ or even know who you are. You may not feel anything at all. And you might not know why…
I offer a safe therapeutic space to explore some of these difficulties on your own terms, without judgement.
I value you as a unique human being, deserving of care and respect. As such, I will never tell you what to do.
You are the expert on your own life and I trust that you will do what is right for you - I am here to help facilitate your process with empathy and understanding.
My first session
The way I work is to schedule a 30-minute introductory session to give us the opportunity to meet, discuss the issues you are facing, see if we feel we can work well together, go over the counselling contract, and figure out a regular time to meet.
The fee for the introductory session is £15.
Following (usually weekly) sessions will be around 60 minutes long with fees ranging from £40-50 depending on your financial circumstances.
