About me and my therapy practice

Life throws curveballs. We all face challenges, big and small, that can leave us feeling lost, overwhelmed, or stuck. Whether it's navigating relationship issues, managing anxiety or depression, or simply seeking personal growth, seeking support is a sign of strength.

You are in safe hands

My practice is governed by BACP's Ethical Framework, ensuring that I'm practicing professionally, following their ethical code, which is designed to safeguard and protect you. It also demonstrates that I'm highly trained with an outstanding depth of knowledge, skill, and have accumulated many years of practical experience in clinical practice.

I have experience in helping people from a diverse background, supporting them with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger issues, sleep issues, relationship issues, panic attacks, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, stress, feeling lonely and generalised anxiety disorder.

I offer a respectful and confidential safe environment to enable you to express your feelings without fear of judgement and allowing free exploration of thoughts and concerns. I work with adults and young people (age 18+), including university students.

By being in tune with how you are feeling and by understanding your experiences, I will support you so that you can focus and gain some clarity. When we make the connections to the root of difficult patterns of thoughts and behaviours, we begin to see a way forward and realise how we can facilitate change, and work towards a growing sense of inner peace and contentment.

My way of working is gentle but sufficiently challenging to help you grow and ensuring that I work at a pace that suits you. In all cases, however, I seek to establish a safe, accepting and trusting environment, in which the client feels fully able to explore issues and find ways forward. If this is something that you feel you would like to try, then please contact me to discuss how I can help.
