About me and my therapy practice
Something extremely challenging may have happened (or be happening) in your life, and you might be struggling to make or integrate changes. You might not be feeling comfortable in yourself, or around others. You might be experiencing low self-esteem, tension, sadness, or problems in your relationships. Maybe you’re not feeling yourself and you’re not exactly sure why. Maybe you’ve reached a point of crisis and you’re not sure how you’re going to get through it.
I can offer you an accepting therapeutic relationship that will allow you to safely explore and process complex experiences. I work flexibly and creatively to help you to develop and achieve goals – valuing all of the different parts of you with curiosity, empathy, and genuine care.
Practice description
Working mainly from a person-centred perspective, I also draw on the multiple theoretical approaches that I have explored within my training and continued professional development in adapting to your needs. I believe that we all have a drive towards our own unique potential, and I will and encourage you to connect with and follow your instincts and sense of judgement. I can help you to communicate and operate more smoothly within yourself; as well as reconnect with important parts of who you are, your strengths, and internal resources. I work in a collaborative way that offers you the flexibility to explore and process what you feel is important at your own pace; supporting you to be compassionate and patient with yourself in making the changes you feel ready to make, when you feel ready to make them. What I can help with

About me and my therapy practice
As a supervisor I hope to foster a safe, engaging, and supportively challenging relationship where we can openly explore the process and impact of your work. I work in a relational and creative way in offering an emergent space that feels welcoming, empowering, expansive, and containing in supporting your wellbeing as a practitioner. I aim to support you in holding and managing complexity and risk in whatever context you’re working in, and will always work to support awareness, exploration, and professional development.
Practice description
My core training is in person-centred-experiential approaches, but I have integrated other approaches in my training so draw on different theories in the thinking around my work and supervision practice. I am open to working with those who’s practice is primarily focussed on working relationally with clients.
In my own therapeutic practice I am particularly interested in complex long-term work, with special interests and training in working with trauma, relationships, and issues around identity. I have worked in third sector, private practice, education, NHS, and social work settings. Alongside delivering supervision to other therapists, I have experience delivering therapeutic/reflective practice supervision to other professionals such as social workers and feel passionately about what my discipline has to offer other helping professions.
I also have experience delivering COSCA training and I am open to working with supervisees at any point of your career/training.
I am a fully accredited with the BACP, so support supervisees within this ethical framework.
My first session
I offer an initial 20 minute telephone call to get a sense of whether we would be a good fit, and to allow you to ask any questions you might have.
Going forward, I have some space for face-to-face appointments in Finnieston (G3), and also offer Zoom/phone sessions if preferred.
My standard rates for supervision are £55 per hour, or £80 for 1.5 hours.
