I expect to resume my face-to-face counselling service in the not too distant future.
About me and my therapy practice
If you are in need of support or feel like you need someone to talk to, I offer space for you to be heard. I also offer an empathic and trusting relationship, allowing you a safe space to explore in a confidential, respectful and non-judgmental manner.
If you have come to therapy for a specific reason, such as building on your confidence, facing personal challenges or issues, becoming more self-aware, or even if you’re not quite sure, please feel free to contact me and find out how counselling can help you.
I am a fully qualified MBACP Humanistic Counsellor and I have experience working in private practice and the voluntary sector. My therapy stems from my philosophy; I believe that everyone has a basic tendency to strive and be fulfilled. We may face struggles or feel stuck due to our upbringing, environment or pressures of life. Whatever the issue, we have the potential to change for the better.
I am very passionate about working with and supporting people as they are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Whether it is resolving issues or overcoming barriers that have left you feeling stuck, stressed or you are now facing new challenges. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental and safe place to explore your experiences and work through issues.
My service is open to everyone, from all walks of life. Growing up in a multicultural area and environment throughout my life I feel at ease working with people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
I offer short-term therapy, which is normally 6 -12 session and long-term therapy, which is open-ended.
