About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I am a BACP Accredited Psychodynamic Counsellor and Equine-facilitated Psychotherapist (EFP).

I am down to earth and supportive. I am particularly experienced and interested in helping people facing grief and loss, anxiety, low mood, change and uncertainty, stress, health related issues, fertility issues and childlessness, the menopause and other life-stage challenges.

I work on a time-limited or open-ended basis to support you in exploring your feelings, help you increase your own understanding and take steps to overcome the difficulties that are affecting you.

As well as standard face to face therapy I also specialise in Equine -facilitated Psychotherapy which means therapy for humans with horses. EFP is an innovative and proven short-term therapy. It can build on previous therapy, be integrated with online or room-based therapy or be an alternative ecotherapy.

If you would like to have a free initial, no obligation chat about counselling or working with horses therapeutically please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP Accredited Psychodynamic Counsellor and specialist in Equine-facilitated Psychotherapy. Working therapeutically with horses can build on previous counselling, help if you feel stuck or offer an alternative to standard therapy working outdoors in nature.

We will work together in the beautiful Sussex countryside with a small herd of horses. Interacting with a horse can help you understand your communication style and the patterns, inner beliefs and expectations you bring to your relationships. Connecting with a horse can be a deeply insightful and moving experience.

If you would like to have an informal, no obligation confidential chat about working with horses therapeutically please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

My first session

EFP is a holistic and experiential type of ecotherapy. Following a safety talk, the first session involves meeting the herd while they graze, as well as practices that help connect you with your body. Sessions include structured and unstructured time with one of more horses. We can shape future sessions together depending on what comes up for you and what you find most beneficial.
