About me and my therapy practice

Hello! I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years experience in the field of mental health. My goal is to help  you gain a stronger understanding of what is troubling you so you can take the steps needed to start feeling better.

I have a particular interest in for working with perinatal issues (birth trauma, postnatal depression, IVF and fertility, miscarriage, new parenthood), anxiety, family and relationship issues, self esteem and identity issues, work/study stress and health issues.

I am also experienced in working with: depression, bereavement and loss, trauma, lonliness and life transitions.

I work from a person-centred and integrative approach to therapy. This means I combine techniques from different approaches to therapy based on your own unique issues, tailoring the therapy to you. Together we can explore the roots of your issues, what keeps you stuck and what we can do to get you back on the route to happiness.

We all feel a little lost and/or overwhelmed at various times in our lives. No one wants to be stuck in a cycle of stress or unhappiness, yet that can be where we find ourselves. Why not take those first steps towards feeling better today and get in touch.

Practice description

All sessions take place remotely via Google Meet or similar platforms.

I offer both short and long term therapy.

Sessions usually take place on a weekly basis, at the same time and on the same day each week. They run for 50 minutes.

I include regular check ins roughly every 6 weeks. This helps us stay on the same page regarding what you find helpful or unhelpful in therapy. I always welcome feedback.

As a person-centred therapist I will take my lead from you and focus on the issues you deem the most important to discuss each week.

My first session

I offer a free introductory call (usually around 10-15 minutes). This provides you with the chance to ask any questions you have, get a sense of me and decide whether you think we can work well together.

If we both feel that we would be a good fit, I will schedule our first session and the therapy can begin.
