About me and my therapy practice
Welcome! I am Baljit Kamal. I am a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor & the founder of "Well Space Therapy" practice.
I have twenty-five years' of experience working in the private, public & voluntary sector. In 2013 out of interest I enrolled on a course, ‘‘Awareness in Bereavement Care’’.
This course inspired me, to retrain as a therapist. For a number of years, I worked within the charity setting to support clients on a voluntary basis. My interest in the mental health industry grew and in 2019, I transitioned to this field by setting up my own private practice.
I work with private clients, EAP, front-line staff and corporate well-being. I deliver the "building resilience programme," to victims who have been bereaved in road crashes on behalf of a national charity covering the London/Midlands region. I also have experience of supporting victims during critical incidents cases.
I apply an integrative approach which allows me to combine and tailor each clients’ requirement. My treatments include CBT, psychodynamic, person-centred, solution-focused, mindfulness and EFT (emotional freedom therapy).
My aim is to offer a relaxed & non-judgemental space for you to explore your concerns and thoughts when life becomes difficult/ uncertain. All sessions are private & confidential. You will be greeted with a warm welcome, with exceptional client care service.
