About me and my therapy practice
Life can be challenging, and managing thoughts, feelings, or situations alone can often feel overwhelming. I believe that establishing a safe, trusting, and respectful relationship is vital for effective therapy. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where you are empowered to take an active role in your healing process. The trust we build in our relationship is essential for your growth and development.
I respect the uniqueness of each individual and recognize that you are the expert in your life and feelings. My approach combines various theories and methods tailored to your specific needs. Throughout our work together, I strive to offer empathy, honesty, kindness, humility, and creativity as needed.
I work with a wide range of issues and specialize in anxiety, OCD (including Covert OCD or “Pure O”), and intrusive thoughts, as well as issues related to bereavement and loss. I also support couples with relationship matters, including communication and conflict resolution.
For those who are self-funding, I offer a complimentary first session with no obligation. This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss what has led you to seek counselling at this time. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions and for me to explain my approach and how we might work together.
Whatever challenges you are facing, I am here to support you.
Practice description
I provide therapy from a private, safe, and comfortable room in my home, conveniently located near Weybridge railway station (KT13), with parking available for those arriving by car. For those who prefer not to travel, I also offer virtual sessions via Zoom or Bi-Lateral Base.
I use a blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, including Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy, Narrative, and Systemic Therapy. In our sessions, you can expect to discuss your feelings, explore coping strategies, and work collaboratively towards your therapeutic goals.
Non-judgement, honesty, confidentiality, and compassion are cornerstones of my practice. You can feel confident that what we discuss will remain between us, fostering a secure environment for your exploration and growth.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule a session, please feel free to reach out via email or phone. I’m here to support you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.
My first session
Finding the right therapist is essential, which is why I offer a 20-minute complimentary session for self-funding clients. This allows us to connect without any obligation or cost. If you are using insurance, the first session will be 50 minutes and charged at the full rate.
During our first session, we will discuss what has prompted you to seek help and why now feels like the right time. I will share my approach and how we can work together effectively. This session is a collaborative opportunity for you to express your needs and preferences.
If we decide to continue after this session, we typically meet weekly, although we can adjust the frequency to suit your circumstances, especially if you are experiencing significant distress.

About me and my therapy practice
I have worked as a Supervisor since 2020 and I hold a CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision. I work from an integrative modality, drawing on various approaches to best meet the needs of each supervisee. My practice incorporates person-centred, psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative, existential, transactional analysis (TA), and systemic relational frameworks. This flexibility allows me to tailor our supervision to align with your unique therapeutic style and client needs.
I supervise practitioners working with individuals and couples, focusing on clients aged 13 and older. The heart of our work together is the supervision process itself, where I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to discuss your work with clients. This space encourages you to reflect on your practice, explore client cases, and navigate any challenges you may encounter.
A key focus of our sessions is on your professional development. I offer guidance and constructive feedback that empowers you to enhance your skills and deepen your understanding of ethical practice. We’ll collaboratively explore how to maintain ethical boundaries and respond to dilemmas, ensuring that your work aligns with the highest professional standards.
Through open dialogue, we can delve into your experiences, successes, and areas for growth. I aim to foster a supportive atmosphere where you feel comfortable bringing all aspects of your client work, allowing for rich discussions that promote your growth as a practitioner.
Ultimately, my goal is to support you in navigating the complexities of your work while prioritizing your professional development and ensuring the best outcomes for your clients.
Practice description
Typically, supervisees attend fortnightly 50-minute sessions, but I’m flexible to adjust the frequency to fit your caseload and needs. Whether you’re early in your career or an experienced practitioner, we’ll find a cadence that feels supportive and manageable.
I’m based in Weybridge (KT13), where I have a dedicated space for in-person sessions, providing a private and comfortable setting. For those who prefer virtual sessions, I work over Zoom and also offer sessions through Bi-Lateral Base, ensuring accessibility and ease, no matter your location.
Finding the right fit in a supervisor is essential for meaningful professional growth, so I offer a free discovery session as an opportunity for us to connect without commitment. This initial meeting allows you to see if my approach resonates with you and whether our working relationship feels comfortable and beneficial. During our time together, I focus on creating a collaborative space where you feel supported to explore client work, ethical dilemmas, and any areas of uncertainty.
In our sessions, expect a balance of active listening and constructive feedback. My goal is to offer insights that both challenge and encourage you, helping you reflect deeply on your work while strengthening your clinical skills. I believe in working from a place of mutual respect, where your expertise is valued and where I provide guidance that’s tailored to your development as a practitioner. We’ll also adapt our sessions as your practice evolves, ensuring our work remains relevant and beneficial over time.
I’m here to support you through complex client presentations, self-care in the field, and developing your therapeutic identity in a way that feels authentic. Supervision should be a space where you feel free to bring all aspects of your work, and together, we’ll navigate both the challenges and rewards of your practice.
My first session
In offering a free initial discovery session, my goal is to create a welcoming and safe space where we can connect. This first meeting is a chance for us both to see if we’re a good fit to work together, address questions, and help you understand how I work and what supervision with me might involve.
Exploring Your Hopes and Expectations
In our session, we’ll discuss what you’re seeking from supervision. Whether it’s addressing client issues, life challenges, professional growth, or personal concerns, I’ll listen without judgement to understand your current priorities and goals. This conversation can help us shape our potential work together based on your unique needs.
My Approach and Methods
As an integrative therapist, I draw on approaches including person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, narrative, and existential therapies. I work with individuals, couples, and young people (13+), on a wide range of challenges, but I tend to specialise in anxiety, OCD, grief, and couples therapy. In supervision, my approach is collaborative, providing support that aligns with your expertise and goals.
Ensuring We’re a Good Fit
A strong connection is vital for effective work. This session lets us assess rapport and comfort, ensuring our styles align. I encourage you to share any thoughts or impressions during our time together, helping us determine if our work would be a good fit.
Next Steps
If we decide to continue, we’ll discuss session plans, goals, and any specific preferences.
Thank you for considering this step. This discovery session is an opportunity to connect, reflect, and explore a path forward, should we choose to work together.
