My experience includes working with those who suffer from depression, anxiety, and adjustment issues. My philosophy is based on the client/therapist relationship, strengths-based approach, and solution-focused therapy. I have worked in private practice and community-based mental health clinics in the United States as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and I am now a registered therapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I have helped many people by strengthening their resilience, social skills, and self-expression. Some of my clients have experienced loss, trauma, and high conflict. I challenge my clients in sessions and additional assignments are sometimes given in order to further individual growth. I provide guided therapy and counselling meaning you can correspond with me in between sessions to check in, ask questions and submit homework if you choose.
