About me and my therapy practice

We all go through times in life when we feel anxious or sad. This can relate to our relationships or the way we think and feel about ourselves. When we feel overwhelmed by these feelings or they don't seem to go away it can help to talk to someone outside of our normal family or friendship group.

I am a BACP registered counsellor working with students and younger adults. I provide a safe, confidential space to explore your feelings and make sense of what is going on in your life.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor. This means I combine theories from a number of different approaches to counselling such as; Person-centered, Psychodynamic, and Gestalt. I don’t believe that there is a single approach that will work for all individuals in all situations. The therapy will evolve with the approach and pace that feels right for you.

I offer both short and long-term counselling. The sessions will take place at The Practice Rooms in Southville and Clifton.

Practice description

I have experience of working with a wide range of issues such as; low self-esteem, relationships, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.

Over the past 16 years, I have worked and volunteered in various mental health, addiction and young persons services. I previously, managed a local mental health charity and provided training and supervision to individuals, groups and workplaces.

I am a BACP Registered Counsellor and therefore abide by their code of ethics and conduct. I undertake regular professional development and supervision.
