Availability

I offer counselling sessions remotely via zoom or telephone so you can access these wherever you are in the U.K. or if you travel a lot, we can still meet remotely so you do not have to miss your sessions.

I am trained to work on video or telephone and I can talk you through joining via video in some simple steps if you have not done this before.

I was skeptical using video for counselling until I completed my 80-hours online and telephone counselling training certificate. I was pleasantly surprised by how much being on video felt just like we are sat in the same room together. Give it a go and see how it feels for you.

I have availability Tuesday-Friday for sessions including evenings up to 8pm.

I am happy to talk through your questions and support you to make the right decision for you by having a free 20-minute call.

Please email me or drop me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I am available. I cannot always answer telephone calls but I am happy to arrange a chat via message or email for a time which is mutually convenient and private.

About me and my therapy practice

Choosing the right counsellor is crucial, and I want to make that process as comfortable and reassuring as possible for you.

As someone who’s naturally empathetic and easy to talk to, my goal is to ease any apprehension you may feel about seeking support. I’m here to offer a safe, compassionate, and accepting space where your voice matters. I genuinely care about what’s important to you and am committed to helping you navigate your journey towards a more positive and fulfilling life.

My approach is integrative, which means I tailor our sessions to suit your unique personality, preferences, and needs. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to therapy, and I’m here to ensure that you receive the support that’s most effective for you. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem, or you're navigating through trauma, loss, or any other challenges, I’m equipped with the knowledge and experience to guide you at your pace.

Practice description

A Compassionate and Experienced therapist.

With over 8 years of experience and thousands of hours spent supporting individuals through a wide range of difficulties, I bring both expertise and empathy to our sessions. I’ve worked extensively with a diverse range people; I train and teach counselling students and hold specialist training in gambling addiction and I supervise counsellors' clinical practice. Additionally, my practice remains grounded in continuous learning and growth to ensure that I remain up to date on issues related to therapy.

Let’s Take the Next Step Together

There’s no pressure to commit after an initial chat or session. I encourage you to take the time to find the right fit, whether that’s with me or another therapist. What matters most is that you receive the support that feels right for you.

If you’re ready to explore how we can work together, or if you simply want to learn more about what counselling with me might look like, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Taking the first step towards change can be daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My first session

After an initial chat via telephone for up to 20 minutes, I encourage you to take time to reflect and decide if you would like to arrange a first session together. If you do you are welcome to contact me again to request this.

In our first session, you’ll have the chance to share your experiences and see how you feel in the therapeutic space and with me in person. If this is your first time talking to an unbiased listener, I want to ensure you feel at ease with me.

During our initial session, we’ll discuss:

Our mutual agreement on how we’ll work together

What has led you to seek therapy

Some of your history

Your hopes for our sessions

This session is an opportunity to determine if we’re a good match. There’s no obligation to continue if you feel it’s not the right fit and I will not put you on the spot to decide if you want to come back. I ask you to get back in touch when you have had chance to reflect and process if you would like us to continue working together.

The initial session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at the full rate.
