About me and my therapy practice
My professional experience is extensive and includes addiction, suicidal ideation, anxiety and low self esteem. I have worked with the Survivors Trust and counselled survivors of rape, sexual abuse and childhood sexual abuse. I have had 2 years experience working in prisons, counselling individuals in recovery, depression, anxiety, grief, stress and other mental health related issues.
I am a person centred counsellor and I have worked with many people to help improve their mental health and wellbeing, often during very difficult and demanding times.
I offer a professional approach that is honest, empathic and non-judgemental. I am warm and patient and place a lot of value in people being given an opportunity to feel heard. Talking about your issues and concerns, being listened to in a counselling relationship offers a different way of looking at life and can bring about positive change, at any age.
Deciding to seek some support is a big step and finding the right counsellor for you is really important, so please feel free to get in touch, or make an appointment so that you can decide if I’m the right person for you to work with. This can provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and for me to explain a little more about how I work and what I can offer. You may prefer to have this conversation via telephone or email, which is absolutely fine.
I offer therapy online or face to face.
Face to Face sessions are £60 - Online sessions £60
Home visits are also available for those people who are housebound, experiencing ill-health and disability or who have mobility issues.

Hand Sanitiser is available
Online therapy is still available via a secure platform

My first session
Intro 20 minutes
I invite you to arrange an introductory call (either by phone or online). When you get in touch, I will be in touch to arrange a time for us to meet.
I use this time to learn about you and the problem you are bringing to counselling or psychotherapy. I have found it saves a great deal of time when it comes to a first session and prevents a stream of questions at a time when perhaps nervousness can get in the way of you from thinking straight.
There is no obligation to start therapy with me but if we do both feel that we would work well together and our diaries match up, we can arrange our first session together.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer Supervision looking at all areas of your work (based on the seven eyed model of supervision) to empower you to be the best counsellor and you that you can be. Supervision is there for you to explore how you work, how the work/client affects you and how you affect the work/client, my aim is to help you explore all of this in a safe space, with no judgment and gentle challenges.
I have been a qualified counsellor since 2018, trained in Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have my own private practice and do face to face and online/telephone work. I have experience working in HMPS, The Survivors Trust and with Drug and Alcohol Services.
I believe supervision should be a safe space for you to discuss any aspects of your work. Finding the right supervisor who you feel comfortable with, and who helps you grow and develop your practice in service of your client, is even more important.
Are you a trainee counsellor seeking affordable quality supervision? Or looking to explore a new supervisor for your own practice/placement offering supervision tailored to your own professional journey.
