About me and my therapy practice
Hello. I am a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist offering short and long term therapy online and face to face in London SW11. I offer support to adults presenting with a range of issues and I tailor my integrative approach to the unique and individual needs of each person.
As an integrative practitioner, I am able to draw on my knowledge of humanistic, existential, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural (CBT) and Compassion Focused (CFT) approaches to help reduce psychological distress and to enhance psychological well-being. I believe in an openness of practice and tailoring my approach to the unique and individual needs of the client. I work collaboratively with you to ascertain which way of working best suits your current needs.
As a relational practitioner, I value the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a healing process. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can feel able to explore your difficulties in depth and where you can begin to increase your self-understanding in order to bring change and possibility.
My training and clinical experience spans counselling psychology and psychotherapy. I have experience working with clients in a range of settings including in the community and in NHS mental health services. I have particular experience working with anxiety, depression, loss, bereavement, maternal mental health, ADHD, gambling addiction, relationship issues and work stress.
As a registered member of the BACP I adhere to the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Counselling Professionals.
To help you take the first step on your journey, I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation. This is an opportunity for you to share your particular difficulties and the areas in your life you want to change and for me to share more information about how I work and the services I can offer you.
