I'll also bring you safety, trust, compassion, cultural sensitivity as well as respect and extensive professional and personal experience.
These qualities make the process of sharing where you're at and why life might be feeling tough right now easier.
Sessions are one to one, confidential and last 50 minutes.
If you have any questions or would like to book an initial session please call or text 07484 160971.

Practice description
Once you've got in touch, we'll briefly discuss what you're looking for from therapy and I'll explain how I work.
We can either do this in a phone call, which usually lasts around 20 minutes and is free of charge or over text/email.
There's no obligation to book but if you feel comfortable you'll have the option to book an initial, one-off, 50 minute session and you'll find more information about this below.
Therapy to fit you:
I'm integratively trained which means that I always adapt my way of working to meet your needs.
You dictate the pace at which we look at the issues you're facing as well as what's covered. For example, if you'd like strategies for managing anxiety.
You choose if sessions are online or face to face.
Online: I use Zoom's secure video conferencing technology for online appointments and send you a link for our session once I've received payment.
This allows you to have regular one to one support from the comfort of your own familiar environment, whenever its convenient for you and without any time being lost to travel.
Face to face: I work from comfortable, purpose designed counselling rooms in Cold Norton, Essex. This beautiful, calm setting promotes wellbeing.
There is parking on site.
Cold Norton is easy to reach from Danbury, Purleigh, Maldon, Chelmsford, South Woodham Ferrers, the Dengie Peninsula, Burnham on Crouch and Wickford.
I also have sessions available in Wickford and North Fambridge, Essex.
Off road is available in all locations and they're easy to reach from Basildon, Chelmsford, Rayleigh, Benfleet, South Woodham Ferrers, Maldon, Danbury and the Dengie Peninsula.
North Fambridge and Wickford have train stations.
My first session
Booking calls and meetings is straightforward. All I need is contact details, information on how you prefer to be contacted (phone, text or email) and an indication of times that work for you.
Call or text 07484 160971 or email info@anjali-leverton.co.uk.
If I'm unable to take your call please feel free to leave your name, number, a convenient time for me to call you back.
Each session lasts 50 minutes and costs £50 payable in advance, by bank transfer.
Whether online or face to face, the first session is a chance for us to meet and get to know each other. It's an opportunity for you to share details about what you're finding challenging and what you're looking for from counselling.
I also talk about confidentiality and how this applies in our work together. An example of this would be, what would happen if we were to see to each other outside of the counselling room.
Towards the end of the first session we'll discuss how this initial time together has felt and we'll agree the next steps between us.
There will never be an pressure to book sessions because I strongly believe that the relationship between you and I is key to effective counselling.
So you feeling comfortable and having a counsellor that feels like the right fit for you will always be the priority.
