About me and my therapy practice
Are you seeking support and insight to help you identify and achieve your work and life goals? Through coaching I can offer you a positive space and structured process to do your best thinking, with the perspective to focus on solutions and growth.
I am a senior coach practitioner accredited through the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council). Therapy-trained, I am also a member of the coaching division of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
In a diverse career I have worked from beginner to board level across business (corporate law), the public sector (NHS, education and fire & rescue) and the voluntary sector (arts & heritage, community and healthcare).
I also work as a qualified counsellor, where I can provide a safe space to listen to what you really want to say, without judging you for what you do, say, think or feel.
Working with a “person-centred” approach, I accept you, your thoughts, feelings and actions, as you are, without judging you. While I have professional training and life experience, I also take the view that you are the expert on yourself. I seek to bring a warmth and gentleness to my approach, which can help us to face deep and difficult issues together.
I also offer professional supervision for coaches, counsellors and therapists.
The duration, frequency and length of coaching sessions is then a matter for agreement between us. A typical contract for an executive or leader may be 6 x 90-minute online sessions over a 9-12 month period for £900. Fees and packages can be negotiated to suit your situation.
I charge £60 per hour for telephone and video therapy and supervision work and £80 per hour for face-to-face appointments including walking therapy.

About me and my therapy practice
My supervision training covers a range of helping professions. I have worked with coaches, counsellors & psychotherapists, spiritual directors and clergy.
I hold ESIA coach supervisor accreditation from EMCC Global (the European Mentoring and Coaching Council).
My foundation is person-centred and holistic: I encourage you to bring your whole self, including your need for self-care, to the supervision space.
Integration of a range of well-established approaches to supervision in counselling and the helping professions: 7-eyed model of focus (Hawkins & Shohet), 3 tasks of supervision (Inskipp & Proctor), 6 processes (Bennett-Levy & Thwaites) and creative supervision (Lahad).
Practice description
Working from my person-centred approach to therapeutic work, I seek to offer a warm, emotionally safe, mutually respectful professional relationship in which supervisees can explore fully all aspects of their practice and the impact of their work on self.
In addition to standard models of supervision I include the use of creativity, which can help to unlock "stuck" situations.
I normally work online, but can offer face-to-face exceptionally (eg to facilitate regulatory and educational requirements for student supervisees). To offset the additional overheads, face to face work is charged at £75.00/ hour.
My first session
I offer an initial free 30 minute introductory session for assessment purposes.
