About me and my therapy practice
I am a counsellor with a dedicated focus on ADHD and the unique challenges surrounding diagnosis and treatment. My work is informed by my personal experience as someone diagnosed as an adult with combined-type ADHD, which has profoundly enhanced my understanding and ability to connect with clients navigating similar paths. Clients contact me at various stages of their ADHD journey – from discovery, to the emotional impact of diagnosis, to the complexities of reframing one’s past, present, and future. I support clients through the often challenging and lengthy processes of assessment, treatment, and beyond.
While rooted in my extensive training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, my therapeutic approach has evolved to one of both practical and emotional support for my clients. As such, I am uniquely able to offer clients my therapeutic training, my personal understanding of the challenges they face, the safety to be their most unmasked self. I understand that for ADHD people, it is not as simple as “do this” or “have you tried…” but rather the patience, support and understanding required to help ADHD people forge their own paths through better understanding of themselves, their condition, and the ways their brain actually works rather than how they feel it ‘should’.
In addition to thousands of hours with ADHD clients, couples and groups, I train other therapists how to work with ADHD clients in my ‘Working with ADHD’ workshops. I have my own ADHD-focussed resource and information website, am regularly featured in magazines, online articles and podcasts, and am writing a book on the adult experience of ADHD and diagnosis, available Q1 2026.
I offer counselling sessions from my home in Whetstone, N20 London, as well as online via Zoom. My standard fee is £90 per session, and payment is accepted via bank transfer, credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Practice description
In my practice, I strive to uphold a deeply inclusive ethos. My work respects and values all protected characteristics, including sexuality, race, religion, disability, gender identity, and expression, ensuring every client feels seen and supported.
In response to increasing client demand, I have developed a tailored approach to couples and family counselling for neurodiverse relationships. These sessions focus on psychoeducation, mediation, and creating structured frameworks that support effective communication and mutual understanding for neurodiverse couples.
I deeply value the therapeutic journey and feel privileged to witness the growth and transformation of my clients. Therapy can be challenging, but the rewards of self-discovery and change are immeasurable.
