About me and my therapy practice
I have over ten years’ experience of Counselling diverse people, with a wide range of life challenges. These include bereavement and loss, relationship issues, domestic abuse including emotional, sexual, financial and physical abuse. I also support people with anxiety, stress and depression.
I am a qualified Person-Centred therapist. This means our counselling will be focused around you and your unique circumstances. You will be listened to and respected for who you are.
The counselling process is not to diagnose or tell you what you should do, but to help you become more aware of your own emotions and feelings. This helps clients to understand themselves better and to move forward positively in their lives.
I studied at the renowned Metanoia Institute in Ealing. I have extensive experience of working for the Woman’s Trust (an agency that specialises in recovery from domestic abuse). During my time there, I was privileged to support women from various class and ethnic backgrounds, including high profile clients. I have a keen interest in relationships and this passion inspired me to complete additional training as a couple’s counsellor. Additionally, I volunteered for a bereavement organisation for over 2 years. I am also interested in group work and have completed further studies.

Practice description
I am currently enrolling for my "Bereavement Support Group". Previous participants have said they feel supported, comforted, and not so alone after sharing and connecting with other group members. I have seen my clients move forward and progress because of meeting people with similar problems or issues. Please email or phone me, if you are interested in joining.
My first session
I am aware that making a decision to see a counsellor can be difficult, and as such I am happy to offer a free 20-minute telephone exploratory session no obligation. During our time together we can explore your life, where you are, where you want to be and most importantly, what you think is holding you back.
