About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative therapist offering long and short term counselling.
My therapeutic style that is empathic, relational, and non-judgemental. I use creative techniques in therapy including mindfulness, sub-personality work, internal family systems, creative visualisations, and body awareness tailored according to your needs.
I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of emotional, personal and relational difficulties, towards building healthy coping strategies.
My approach is informed by different schools of thought, including psychodynamic, person-centred and transpersonal.
I also have many years of professional experience supporting people who experienced abuse and trauma. Alongside with my private practice, I managed a leading therapeutic service providing counselling and group work to survivors of VAWG for many years. Therefore I bring my understanding of the long lasting impacts of the trauma and a wide variety of adverse childhood experiences on our lives. I currently work at the NHS as a counsellor, group facilitator and trainer.
I also deliver self-care, wellbeing and staff welfare trainings for VAWG, human rights, social work organizations, around vicarious (secondary) trauma, compassion fatigue and burn out. I provide consultancy, psychological needs assessments, and reflective practice sessions to organizations around staff wellbeing and trauma informed practice.
Would it be for you?
