About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Angela and I am a qualified counsellor, Registered with the British Association for counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I have experience in helping people who have faced difficulties including, anxiety, depression, low mood, anger, low self worth/self esteem, loss, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, the list is not exhaustive.
I’ve always had a passion for helping others, which is why I decided to train to become a counsellor.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, making you feel low, not being able to talk to family or friends through fear of being judged, which means that making sense of how we feel can be a struggle.
I work from a Person-Centred approach meaning that you are at the centre of my work.
I offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, working together at pace that suites you.
Working collaboratively to look at ways to understand what is happening and why you are the way you are. Then together we can work towards personal change and growth.
I can provide short and long term counselling, online counselling, including evening appointments and weekends.
What I can help with
Abuse, Addictions, Anger management, Bereavement, Child related issues, Eating disorders, Infertility, Loss, Obsessions, OCD, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sexuality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
