About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative counsellor and offer an opportunity to speak freely about whatever’s currently important in your life. This may be something from the past, a current experience or something you are finding hard to overcome or deal with. It may be that you can't pinpoint why you are feeling the way that you do and want support with it.
Whatever you choose to speak about remains confidential (there are exceptions to this which are discussed in the initial meeting), and without any judgement.I am experienced in working with young people, adults and couples.
Please note that I have a current, enhanced DBS check and have undergone extensive Safeguarding training, for both children and adults.
I offer concessionary rates to student counsellors, please contact me for further details.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative counsellor from person centred roots and offer supervision to experienced counsellors, and those in training. I use Hawkins and Shohet’s 7 eyed model to enable supervisees to be more effective as practitioners.
The supervisory relationship is so important and should be a trusting one, in which the supervisee feels that they can be honest. It’s also vital that the relationship offers growth, through exploration, challenges and reflection. I believe good supervision offers an opportunity to share good work, clumsy work, and how we truly are as therapists.
Working together to strengthen the therapeutic alliance between supervisee and client, through the supervisory relationship is key to successful client outcomes.
“A ‘good enough mother’ needs to be held and supported by another supportive adult.” (Winnicott, 1971)
