My values and character - I’ve always had a strong drive to help and heal people. I hate seeing any living creature in pain. It’s very rewarding to see clients making progress and having successful therapeutic outcomes. Its great to see someone smile again. I’m naturally empathic and genuine.
Your choice:
You have the choice of having sessions via Zoom or phone. More recently I've noticed the majority of my clients prefer online counselling via Zoom. Often clients like to have phone therapy via WhatsApp as it is secure and saves money compared to usual phone calls. Additionally, I can offer face to face sessions in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Practice description
Is this the right therapy for you?
Is Person Centred therapy right for you? - Person Centred therapy can be highly effective for a client who wants to discuss, explore and understand. I believe that we all have great potential and more inner resources than we realise, but it can often be difficult to access this by ourselves. Person Centred therapy can help you gain new insights into your problems and how to solve them. I aim to help clients develop the ability to withstand adversity, effect positive change and bounce back from difficult life events. Clients often say they feel so much better to be able to offload - I wonder if you feel like that?
Uniqueness and shared experience :
We all have our own unique story and experiences. Indeed, Person Centred therapy comes from a humanistic tradition which values each of us as the unique individuals we are. Additionally, I have often found common themes come up in the therapy room that may have affected many of us at one point or another - for example issues around feeling overwhelmed, anxiety, depression, loss, bereavement, loneliness, work, stress, health, self esteem, being stuck, relationships etc. Counselling gives you an opportunity to explore what is causing you distress and help you find resolution. Clients often report feeling better when they recognise:
· A sense of progress
· Feeling heard and understood
· They work well with their therapist
· Gaining new coping skills
· Starting to experience positive changes in their life
· Feeling better able to manage their emotions and behaviour
· Feeling empowered and more in control of their life

About me and my therapy practice
I'm a friendly and approachable Person Centred therapist. I provide counselling for adult clients on a one to one basis. If you need to talk and are looking for an experienced counselling professional, please do get in touch.
There maybe times in life where we face issues we can't resolve on our own. Clients often tell me how refreshing it is - & how much better they feel - being able to talk in confidence to a private counsellor. Having separation from friends and family can take the pressure off of the situation. Therapy is a place where we can discuss, explore and understand. This can help you make sense of your experiences, and how you feel about them. Rather than give you advice, I'll support you in developing your own unique strategies and solutions to your unique situation. Therapy often feels like a journey. I take that journey with my clients with empathy, understanding and acceptance.
My values and character - I am by nature a good listener, empathic and non-judgmental. I believe it’s essential that you feel valued, supported, heard and understood.
I’ve always had a strong drive to help and heal people. I hate seeing any living creature in pain. It’s very rewarding to see clients making progress and having successful therapeutic outcomes. Its great to see someone smile & laugh again. I’m naturally empathic and genuine.
Being a counselling professional, I am a registered member of the BACP. As a person centred therapist, I'll support you so that you can develop the right approach for your unique situation. I aim to help you strengthen your resilience and ability to cope, resolve inner conflict, and overcome obstacles.

At times life can be very challenging. Most people I speak to who are going through hard times want to be heard and understood. I am by nature a good listener, empathic and non-judgmental. I believe it’s essential that you feel accepted, heard and understood.
