About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel anxious or sad, lonely, frustrated or dissatisfied? Is it affecting your daily life, relationships or eating habits? Does it seem that there must be more to life?
By working together, we can explore some of these feelings with the aim of bringing about change through a greater awareness of yourself.
This happens by talking about things that don't make sense, or that make you sad, afraid or angry. By exploring these feelings, some of which you may not be fully aware of, you can identify and express them, and understand a bit more about what you are experiencing
Building a confidential, respectful and non judgmental relationship is key to our work. We work at your pace so you can find your own way forward with the things that matter to you.
Knowing yourself better can lead to increased confidence and control over your life. It can build resilience to manage difficult situations and enable you to make the decisions that are important and right for you.

Practice description
I work with clients with a variety of issues including depresssion, anxiety, bereavement and loss, weight and disordered eating, family and relationships.
My first session
Before your first session we will usually have a phone or zoom call, or we can meet in person so I can understand what it is you are looking for from counselling, and for you to find out a bit about how counselling works. It is important for you to find someone that feels right for you, and you can ask as many questions as you want so you can make an informed decision.
