I'm pleased to offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your lifestyle, including day and evening appointments, Monday through Friday. My goal is to make therapy accessible and convenient for you.
About me and my therapy practice
With a rich background in counselling spanning several years, I've had the privilege of supporting clients through a diverse spectrum of challenges. These include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, self-esteem issues, sexuality, and recovering from historical trauma, alongside navigating workplace stresses.
My approach to therapy is founded on warmth and acceptance, fostering a trusting and supportive environment. I’m committed to providing a safe, open space for you to express yourself freely, facilitating a deeper understanding and resolution of the issues at hand.
Seeking help can feel overwhelming, particularly when you’re at a low point or consumed by worry. If you’re ready to embark on a healing journey, I welcome the opportunity to guide and support you every step of the way.
My expertise extends beyond counselling services; I am also dedicated to educating the next generation of counsellors as a tutor and lecturer. In addition, I hold a Professional Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
To book an appointment or for any inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact me at 07851479765.
Practice description
In our sessions together, you lead the way. Whether you're looking to explore your current feelings, discuss recent events, or delve into past experiences shaping your present, I’m here to listen and understand without judgment. Our aim will be to uncover clarity and meaning in your experiences, providing a foundation for resolving ongoing difficulties.
Furthermore, we'll explore activities to engage in between sessions—like journaling, meditation, and mindfulness practices—to enhance your journey to self-awareness and presence.
My first session
Our initial meeting is a vital step towards therapeutic support. It’s your opportunity to share your motivations for seeking therapy, including any challenges you’re facing, both past and present, and the goals you’re aiming to achieve. This session is also an open space for any questions you may have about the therapy process and our collaborative approach. A key part of this will involve discussing our working agreement and setting the foundation for our journey ahead.

About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centred supervisor, we will work in an environment characterised by the core conditions. It will be a space where we get closer to your experience with your clients as we develop trust in your own instincts and intuition. This will help you be more present and self-aware as you continue to work with your clients.
I maintain a curious stance with our work, as we hold your work up to the light and wonder about the different meanings and truths that we notice. I believe that being open about ourselves and our clients enriches and creates possibilities for different ways of being.
Your work will also be reviewed in the context of the BACP ethical framework, along with legal and institutional requirements. Development of your practice, CPD, and marketing can also be explored.
I have extensive experience working with students and newly qualified counsellors, although I welcome all counsellors at any part of their career.
In addition to my counselling and supervisory work, I am also a counselling tutor and lecturer and hold a Professional Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Practice description
My desire after each supervision session is that you feel listened to, and accepted while also challenged. I believe that there is never just one way to work with a client, so I feel it is important to understand how your own history, personality and knowledge inform your choices, and to explore alternative ways of working. This will facilitate your self-awareness and development.
