About me and my therapy practice
Therapy and counselling offer a non-judgemental space to explore what is going on for you. It is your space to talk about issues you may be experiencing or have experienced that are causing you pain, worry or you want to make sense of.
I work with an integrative approach which means you will always be at the centre of our sessions. My role within the session is to support you to explore what you feel you want to.
If you haven't experienced counselling before it can seem quite daunting or scary. The therapeutic relationship is really important, this is why I offer a FREE 20 minute initial session/consultation for you to meet with me, ask any questions you may have and explore how therapy may help you.
I have experience of working with both young people and adults. I am a fully qualified and accredited professional with appropriate insurances and registrations.
Practice description
The sessions will take place in the cabin in my garden. It is set away from the house and accessed via a gate at the side of the house. This offers privacy and confidentiality.
I work integratively to ensure that you are always at the centre of our sessions. You are the expert on you, I will be here alongside you to explore and work out what you need.
Sessions will be 50 minutes long.

Practice description
As a supervisor, I offer a safe space for therapists and counsellors to reflect and build on their professional development and clinical practice. This space is where therapists can explore their therapeutic work, discuss challenges, and deepen their understanding of clients. I emphasise the importance of self-awareness, ethical practice, and the therapist-client relationship, encouraging therapists to reflect on their emotional responses and countertransference.
I offer feedback on case conceptualisation, intervention strategies, whilst promoting personal and professional growth. My supervision style is collaborative and balances support with appropriate challenge, fostering both confidence and competence. I help therapists navigate complex cases, ethical dilemmas, and organisational challenges, ensuring they deliver the best they can for their clients.
I feel the supervisor-supervisee relationship needs to be one of trust and openess. This relationship supports the supervisee in navigating their experiences and interventions.
There is learning in everything and our practice is continually evolving.
About me;
I work with both individuals and couples.
My training is integrative, with a strong foundation in Person Centred theory and psychodynamic.
I have a special interest in attachment and developmental trauma, how this affects our brain, our body and understanding of the world, and how this plays out in our relationships and behaviours.
I offer a free initial consultation (25 mins), if you would like to know more, or explore if we would be a good fit. Please do get in touch.
