About me and my therapy practice
Coming to counselling allows you to the space and time to think deeply about yourself and your relationships. I hope to help you do this in a warm, open and thoughtful way. The focus of our sessions is your needs which we will talk about throughout our work. We may consider patterns of relating to others, particularly those patterns of which you could be unaware. Often our work together will explore how past experiences might be affecting the present.
I can help you work through a range of difficulties - my experience includes relationship problems, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, eating disorders, parenting and bereavement. This can be on a short-term or long-term basis.
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. As well as holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, I am a Cambridge graduate and have a further degree in Psychology.
