About me and my therapy practice
If you struggle with an addiction I will work with you to help you find a way to stop and more importantly, stay stopped. I’m sure you will have heard the words “why don’t you just stop/cut down”. If only it was that simple. Your addiction probably helped or still helps you feel better or takes you away from the feelings you don’t want. If you’re looking for help it’s probably damaging your life in some way now and you’re ready to look for a solution. You have taken the first step, looking for an answer.
I am experienced in substance addiction such as alcohol and drugs, both nonprescription and prescription, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling and shopping. I have worked at APAS, The Health Shop and Nottingham Recovery Network.
You may have tried using all the will power you can muster but somehow you’ve found yourself back doing it again, that’s ok we will work together to find a way that works for you. This is not a quick fix, there isn’t one, but if you really want this you can do it and I can help.
